The Ease of Communication; The Death of Conversation
By News Desk | September 4, 2008
Omg… Imnsho txting is ttly the speak of the l33t!!! What am I going to do type out real words? I mean when I am out Pking and Pwning noobs I don’t have time to say anything unless its real short. I only go AFK when its absolutely necessary like if my dog is spazzing or my mom is melting and then I am like WDALYIC, then I remember that she is my mom. Ooops. I consider it an epic fail of a W/end unless I get my VWB’s online. So usually after my W/end I try to splain to my beasts but then they are all like FIIK what that means. So then I try to splain some more about what it means if a tank has the flag and how if it takes bear form nothing short of a high paladin can stop it.
Usually that’s all the conversation I can manage to squeeze out in a day. Online I am always able to get in touch with people who get me by shouting LFG! LFG! LFG! School drags and drags. I mean I get decent grades but the teachers always want M.02 and I don’t like verbing to much. So @TEOTD after I am all like OMGYG2BK to my teachers for the H/W I have I go home and start the cycle over again. Its not all the same for “instance” some things can only be done certain days of the week.
Think this paragraph is amusing? Look around you and just observe your friends, how many of them use these abbreviations in normal conversation? People are forgetting the value of words. I for one have not forgotten how important it is to talk and I always remember to emote not just with my face and finger, but with my voice as well.
