Meet the World’s First Pregnant Man

Meet the world’s first pregnant man, Thomas Beatie.
Nobody’s entirely sure if Beatie actually is pregnant, and the fact that he has chosen to make an official announcement one way or another after April 1st has media suspecting an April Fool’s trick. But Beatie plans to show Oprah the ultrasound image to prove that he is indeed with child, expected delivery early in July.
Beatie was born a woman but underwent sex change surgery and hormone therapy. He elected to leave his female reproductive organs intact, thereby allowing him to carry a child using donor sperm. He is legally a male and is married to a woman.
Many are dubious, including his neighbors. But Beatie’s determination to prove to the world he’s the first pregnant man. See the video below:
