Haitian UFOs Back with a Bang

They’re baaaack…
Suddenly the now-infamous Haitian UFOs that skyrocketed (no pun intended) on YouTube in August are in the public eye once more, with Yahoo reporting keywords relating to the Haitian and Dominican Republic videos are experiencing breakout popularity in their search engine.
Will this once again ignite the debate: are these a really good animation, some sort of government experiment (Haiti? seriously?), or something totally inexplicable? Hopefully not, since the authenticity of these has long since been disproved. They’re research videos created by a professional animator. More here. It’s a pity, as they do have the look of something from Steven Spielberg’s imagination come to life.
The video certainly has shock factor, much like the wonderful “pounce” effect of the birthday party footage in M. Night Shyamalan’s Signs. If you click the play button expecting your run-of-the-mill sleepy, blurry dots in the sky…be warned.
