Thank-you Al Gore
By newsguy | October 13, 2007
The picture says a thousand words.
Actually it says 3 words: Thank-you Al Gore.
An Inconvenient Truth, Gore’s Award-winning picture of the Earth’s gobal climate crisis has people calling him a modern-day Paul Revere.
His work in making people aware about the environment has won him much well-deserved acclaim.
And what a perfect ending to such a controversial struggle of power and money than for Mr. Gore to be given the world’s greatest honor.
Joining the ranks or more than a hundred past winners, including Jean Henry Dunant, Founder of the Red Cross, the first winner.
In a world of corruption and power and money, it is nice to see someone with influence and power try to bring change in the world.
We may not be able to reverse the effects of Global Warming, or solve’s the world’s water and food programs, but as humans, we have to at least try.
It is in the very fiber of our human being to try.
Thank-you Al, for giving us the inspiration to face the difficult problems of this generation.
