Could Warren Jeffs be a Prophet?
By newsguy | September 25, 2007
Warren Jeffs is a prophet.
A direct descendent of Jesus Christ, Jeffs is the voice of God on earth
At least that’s what he says - rather what his father said before he died and turned the 10,000 member spin-off of the Mormon Church over to his son Warren.
It is just a normal church, with much of the same doctorine as the real Mormon Church, with the exception of a few radical, and largely illegal practices - mainly the practice of polygamy.
There is actually nothing really that radical about polygamy. Most of the men in the Old Testament were polygamists, including Moses. It wasn’t exactly right according to scripture, but it was this aggressive pro-creation that fathered our generations.
Christian, Islamic and Jewish religions all have histories of polygamy.
Now, in 2007, it puts you on the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted list. Jeffs spent some time there until he was finally picked up in his Escalade and put on trial for assisting another man rape a 14-year old.

According to Jeffs, and the rest of his family and church members, marrying and having sex with a strong male leader, (who are considered to be priests), is the way to eternal salvation. That in fact is their purpose in life.
These young girls don’t feel like they are worthy until they are someone’s bride.
The federal government sees it a little differently, as do most of America.
To most people, using religion to get young girls to have sex with you is wrong. It seems cultish and weird and conjures up images of orgies and slavery.
What I am wondering is this - how do any of us really know that Warren Jeffs is not a modern-day Moses?
How do we know Warren Jeffs is not a prophet?
Have any of us actually ever heard him speak? What if every time he opens his mouth, the words of God flow out and we just weren’t fortunate enough to live in one his sprawling compounds - modern day Zion?
This is probably just another case of a buch of people who got wrapped up in the charisma of a smooth talking leader. But every picture I see of these church members, they look happy and fulfilled.

Whats to say this guy is not a modern day Moses? Well back in the day when Moses walked the earth, polygamy was no big deal. I personally dont believe in it, but what happened to its a free country, and religious freedom? Isn’t that how the country started off? A bunch of prudes from overseas trying to get away from Ma and Pa to believe what they want to believe, without fear or descimination? I am in no way saying its right or wrong. I personally think it is wrong. But who am I to say it should not be allowed? Religious freedom isnt just for you or for me, its for everyone. Even that creepy nutjob.

doesn’t anyone watch PBS? These girls are brutalized intellectually, at such an early age, that Jeff’s moral rights seem inconsequential. Answers aren’t that hard to deduce. He ain’t a prophet and it really seems that there would be a serious lack of simple reasoning in any further doubts. His stupid but arrogant stare in the courtroom showed me what a pussy he is. Please, tablets in the ground? How would one think that addressing vague and convoluted ideas become a church that attracts and keeps members with NO real message except for paternal authority. I can’t even imagine if I were brain impaired to ever be able to accept it. Poor girls. Poor us.
